What is the Shrimp Boil experience?

This is a 90-minute dinner and show experience in New Orleans, combining great food, live music, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Will the event start and end on time?

Yes! We start and end promptly on time to accommodate guests who have other plans, such as tours or reservations at Preservation Hall.

Are tickets refundable?

No, your reservation is a non-refundable ticket, similar to a theater ticket. However, if you can’t attend, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.

What happens if I arrive late?

Late arrivals are considered no-shows, so please arrive early. We recommend grabbing a drink and mingling with other guests outside Grand Pre’s Bar (834 N Rampart Street at Dumaine) before we begin on the dot.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Yes, it’s BYOB! You can also purchase alcoholic drinks from Grand Pre’s Bar to bring to the Shrimp Boil.

Is tipping the performers expected?

Absolutely! Tipping the band is part of the fun, so bring some cash to make it rain on the performers.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, and pork-free guests, but only if you let us know in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate vegans, vegetarians, or those with shellfish allergies.
